When The Walls Come Down

Norlington Road Studios are hosting an exhibition of artwork and open studios from studio members and invited guests as part of this year’s Leytonstone Arts Trail. Three members of the Undecided Art Collective (Tania Dixcey, Christopher Jones and Stuart Harris) are among the 30+ artists exhibiting at the event which opened yesterday evening at the atmospheric prewar factory building in East London.

The show opened yesterday evening with Grassy Noel & APE providing a musical accompaniment of poetry, spoken word and improvised abstarct sounds made using found objects aswell as more traditional trumpets and guitars.

The scale of the exhibition, with so many artists each occupying several metres of wallspace, is all the more remarkable considering that as recently as Tuesday morning the exhibition space was completely empty which just shows what can be achieved when a bunch of people get together and decide to do something.

The exhibition runs until 22nd July at 66 Norlington Road, London E10 6LA.
