My work is characterised by a fascination with ‘The Social’: the way individuals interact with each other may it be in reference to their dwelling, cultural grounding or political spheres.
I am sustained by a fascination with the psychology behind human ritualistic events. From a monument of peace being created in the streets of London during riots or a rural traditional event being constantly modernised to stay alive. When an individual joins a crowd they move as one entity like a murmuration of starlings or a shoal of fish that has automatic action, this is just one of the many things that bug me from time to time.
